We’re elevating cancer care in the desert Southwest, and the proof is in our newly released Cancer Center annual report.
When you’re a parent, nothing is more important than the health and well-being of your child. You can count on the pediatrics team at Yuma Regional Medical Center to provide your child with the very best medical care from the day they’re born through toddlerhood, adolescence and their teen years. In addition to the care we provide to our young patients in our pediatric unit, we offer several specialized services, including a Pediatric Sub-Specialty Clinic and Children’s Rehabilitative Services(CRS).
We understand that being admitted to the hospital can be a scary time for you and your child, so we want to assure you that our pediatrics team will do everything possible to reduce any anxiety you may have. Since spending family time together is such an important part of the healing process, we welcome parents to stay in the hospital with their child overnight. And during those times when work and family responsibilities may prevent you from being at the hospital, you can take comfort in knowing that our caring and compassionate staff will be there for your child around the clock.
You’ll never have to navigate your way through your child’s hospital stay alone. In addition to the support you’ll receive from our pediatrics team, you can receive emotional and spiritual support from the Yuma Regional Medical Center Spiritual Care department. You may request a visit from one of our chaplains at any time, 24 hours a day. Simply ask your nurse, call the hospital operator or call our Spiritual Care department directly at 928-328-9297.
