As we continue to make good progress in treating cancer, there is a growing number of cancer survivors. Our Survivorship Clinic is designed to meet their unique needs by providing them with compassionate, evidence-based health care following their cancer diagnosis and treatment. It’s part of our overall commitment to offering our cancer patients caring support every step of the way. The clinic provides survivors with an individualized summary of their previous cancer treatment as well as a treatment plan targeting their future physical and emotional needs. Additional services offered by the Survivorship Clinic include screening for new or returning cancers, strategies for reducing risks and optimizing wellness, managing late side effects of cancer treatment and initiating referrals for community resources.
