Calling all aspiring young chefs ages 8-14!
Our Healthy Kids in the Kitchen cooking class is a free summer program that’s designed to help kids prepare and cook healthy recipes and learn about nutrition, portion control and food handling safety. Participants receive hands-on experience as they learn how fun it can be to cook and eat healthy foods!
The second series of Healthy Kids in the Kitchen is scheduled to begin Thursday, June 1 at Yuma Regional Medical Center Corporate Center (399 W. 32nd Street) and will continue every Thursday throughout the month of June from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
Healthy Kids in the Kitchen classes are taught by Chef Karla of Karla’s Kreations. Space is limited, only one class per participant.
