Care Philosophy

A patient only has one heart. They can’t live without it. If someone entrusts you with their heart, it’s my duty to do my best for them.

As a cardiologist specializing in electrophysiology, Dr. Ragesh Panikkath attends to patients with heart rhythm conditions such as arrhythmias and irregular heartbeats.

Dr. Panikkath grew up in India, where he attended medical school at Calicut University in the city of Thrissur. He completed a residency as well as two fellowships. When he arrived in the United States, he elected to repeat much of his training. He pursued a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in general cardiology at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. He concluded his formal training as an electrophysiology fellow at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Danville and Wilkes Barre, PA.

When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Panikkath enjoys hiking and biking.
